Health screenings will be held in Clayton, Fort Gaines

The Southeast Alabama Medical Center’s mobile health screening unit will make visits in communities in the tri-state area during April.

All tests are insurance filed. The screenings include: Mammograms for breast cancer, PSA for prostate cancer and fecal occult blood kits for colon cancer. Vascular screenings include cholesterol, glucose (no fasting required), blood pressure, body mass index, height and waist measurement with assessment. Health education programs also provided.

- April 14, Clayton Family Health, 7 Western Bypass, Clayton, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- April 22, Ariton School, 264 Creel Richardson Road, Ariton, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
- April 23, Clay County Medical (Dr. Kinsell), 305 S. Washington, Fort Gaines, Ga., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST

When screenings like this are held, it would be a good idea to use a mass notification system to let everyone know that this is available. In order to get the word out about something like this, mass notification software could help contact people who opt-in to receive alerts.
