Couple will wed Saturday

Jan and Jeral Carpenter of Eufaula and Mike and Kathy Corbin of Georgetown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Renee Corbin, to Aaron Burr, son of Richard and Lisa Burr of Merryville, La.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Lou Stripling and the late Herman Stripling of Rosepine, La., and of Bennie and Margaret Corbin of Midland City.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Gilbert and Audrey Orgego of Denham Springs, La., and the late Aaron and Ruth Burr of Merryville, La. The wedding will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Merryville, La.
