Miss Allen, Mr. Newton exchange vows July 11

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Allen of Eufaula announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Lynn, to Jimmie Guinn Newton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Newton of Eufaula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ray Symons of Eufaula and of Hazel Allen and the late Bill Allen of Eufaula. Heather is a graduate of Eufaula High School. She is employed with Equity Group.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. Gaylon Amerson and the late Donna Amerson of Georgetown, Mrs. Doris Clark and the late Byron Hodgson of Mt. View, Okla., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Newton of Webb.

He is a graduate of Eufaula High School. He holds a degree in welding from Wallace Community College and is employed with MeadWestvaco.
The wedding will be July 11 at 3 p.m. at the Shorter Mansion.
