Dale and Hellen Hammond of Eufaula announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Hammond, to Brandon Mahaley, son of Robert and Diane Mahaley of Eufaula.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James Walden and Sofia Walden of Tacoma, Wash., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hammond of Columbus, Ga.
Brandy is a graduate of Eufaula High School. She is employed with World Finance Corporation.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Eakin of Columbus, Ga. and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mahaley of Richland, Ga.
He is a graduate of Abbeville Christian Academy and is employed with Carbo Ceramics.
The wedding will be a private beach wedding on Aug. 8 at sunset.
