Miss Mowers,  Mr. Smallwood will wed Aug. 8

Mr. and Mrs. James Mowers of Hampshire, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Lee Mowers, to James Leslie Smallwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Glenn Smallwood of Eufaula.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leo Allen and the late Mr. Allen of Hampshire, Ill., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emory Mowers of Hampshire, Ill.
Melissa is currently attending Columbia College of Missouri where she will receive her degree in marketing and business management. She is employed with WS Hampshire. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. J.W. Mallory and the late Mr. Mallory of Eufaula, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moore Smallwood of Eufaula. He is a graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is employed with Cooper Lighting.
The wedding will be Aug. 8, at 5 p.m. at South Pointe Greens Dekalb, Ill.
