Miss Sherrill, Mr. Jones to wed

Mr. and Mrs. William Randolph Sherrill of Eufaula announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Brooke Sherrill, to Jarred Michael Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ray Jones of Eufaula.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Andrew Smith of Hattiesburg, Miss. and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hugh Sherrill of Eufaula.

Lindsay Brooke Sherrill is a 2002 graduate of Eufaula High School.

She graduated with honors from Troy University where she received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with concentration in English/language arts.

She finished her master’s degree in secondary education-English/language arts from the University of West Alabama in 2008.

She is employed with Auburn City Schools as a seventh grade language arts teacher.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. Jimmy Durwood Jones and the late Nina Jo Jones of Eufaula and of Mrs. Eunice Hale Powell, the late Freeman Ray Jones and the late Bobby Joe Powell of Columbus, Ga.

Jarred is a 2000 graduate of The Lakeside School. He is pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Troy University in business. He will graduate in December of this year. Jarred is employed with Environmental and Recycling Solutions.

The wedding will be June 13 at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. The reception will follow at the Shorter Mansion.
