Can’t find the right words?
“Say it with a song!”
That’s the slogan for Linda and Aaron Brown’s new singing telegram business.
The two entrepreneurs, along with “hula-girl” Angela Davis, surprised employee Peggy Reeves at Crowne Health Care Wednesday with a special song and hula-dance performance. Peggy was even persuaded to do a little hula-dance herself.
The singing telegram was delivered to Peggy as a “just because” occasion from her loving husband, Rodney. But Linda says all occasions are game for their singing telegram service: birthdays, holidays, get-well messages and even marriage proposals.
Linda usually delivers the singing telegram. She comes from a highly musical family and was an original member of the gospel group Charles Davis and “The Bright Clouds” of Clayton.
“God gave me this idea on Feb. 14, at 2:30 a.m.,” says Linda. “(Our mission) is just to brighten up someone’s day and do it in a professional manner.”
