Concert will benefit McGilvary family

Jimmy McGilvary and wife Sherrie are Eufaula residents.

On July 11, a concert will be held at Lake City Baptist to benefit the Jimmy McGilvary family and defray medical expenses for Jimmy, who suffers from progressive bulbar palsy, a form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as “Lou Gehrig’s disease”.

The concert will be held at 6 p.m.

Groups performing include:
The Gilmore Trio (with Joyce and James)
Marcia Hudson
The Gospel Messengers
The Morris’s
Dot Whitener and Lily
Carolyn Wiggins
Richard Pennington

A love offering will be collected during the event.
