‘Leadership Alabama’ executive visits Eufaula

Barbara Larson, executive director of Leadership Alabama, visited the Bluff City Tuesday.

Larson came to visit Eufaula City Schools’ pre-kindergarten program. Larson listened to Eufaula City Councilman Bob Powers, a staunch Pre-K advocate, speak during a recent summit on Pre-K programs. And she was curious to witness how Eufaula’s Pre-K program works.

“As (executive director of Leadership Alabama), the topic I encounter the most is education,” said Larson while meeting with several ECS and city leaders at Eufaula Primary School Tuesday. “And what (Leadership Alabama alumni) can do about it in their state.
