Man hit by car in assault

A T.V. McCoo resident was reportedly assaulted Sunday morning after the victim’s ex-girlfriend allegedly hit him with her vehicle after first threatening the victim with an axe and a hammer.

According to a police report, the offender refused to leave the residence when asked and threatened the victim with, first, an axe and, second, a hammer.

The offender got in her car to leave but changed her mind and attempted to run the victim over with her vehicle, damaging another car in the process. The victim was struck once with the car and suffered no serious injuries.
