‘Operation Grinch’ nets 14 local arrests

The Barbour County Sheriff’s Department recently arrested 14 individuals on drug charges.

All 14 of the individuals are from Barbour and Quitman counties, according to a press release from the department.

The following individuals have been arrested in the last week:

* Jesse William Watson, 22, from Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* Debra Denise Steele, 45, from Clayton – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

* Jennifer Marie Brown, 34, from Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* William Trey Price, 28, from Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* Carl Wilson Gamble, 58, from Clayton – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (He is currently being sought by deputies)

* Ryan Michael Busboom, 28, from Eufaula charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance

* Thomas Dennard Hicks, 27, from Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* Holly Marie Fischer, 34, from Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* Janet Michelle Kelley, 32, of Georgetown, Ga. – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (3 counts).

* Christina E. Stafford, 31, of Eufaula – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Stafford is also wanted on drug-related charges in Florida.

*  Hunter T. Whitman, 24, of Georgetown – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

* Raphael Smith, 22, of Clio – charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

* Lamar Respress, 28, of Eufaula – charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana

* Kennard Peterson,  25, of Eufaula - warrant obtained for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. (He is currently being sought by deputies.)
