Three tournaments will be held in Bluff City

Old Creek Town Park will be busy this weekend.

That’s because three district baseball tournaments begin Friday evening. Eufaula will host the 9-year-old Minors, 12-year-old Youth Ozone and 15 and 16-year-old Pre-Majors. Games will be held June 26-July 1.

The first games for the 9-year-old Minors will begin at 4 p.m. from field five. Teams participating in the tournament include: Enterprise American, Enterprise National, Troy American, Troy National, Eufaula and Greenville.

Games for the Ozone tournament will begin at 5:30 p.m. on fields six and seven. Teams participating in the tournament include: Enterprise American, Enterprise National, Troy American, Troy National, Geneva, Slocomb, Hartford and Eufaula.

Games for the Pre-Majors tournament will begin at 3:30 p.m. on field eight.

Teams participating include: Brantley, Elba, Enterprise, Eufaula, Greenville, Luverne and Opp.

Information on Eufaula’s first round games in the respective tournaments were not available by press deadline but will be published in the weekend edition of The Eufaula Tribune, available Friday morning.

Eight other Eufaula All-Star teams will begin play this week outside of the Bluff City.

n The 10-year-old Minors will begin sub-district play Friday in Luverne.

n The Darlings begin sub-district play Thursday in Luverne.

Eufaula will open the tournament against Troy at 6 p.m. Brantley and Luverne are also in the tournament.

n The Angels begin sub-district play Thursday in Dothan.

Eufaula will play against Headland at 6 p.m. Abbeville, Dothan and Troy are also in the tournament.

n The Ponytails begin sub-district play Thursday in Troy.

Eufaula will play Troy at 8 p.m. Dothan Blue and South Dale are also in the tournament.

n The Belles begin sub-district play Thursday in Troy.

Eufaula will open the tournament with South Dale at 6 p.m. Abbeville and Troy are also in the tournament.

n The Coach Pitch All Stars begin district play Friday in Luverne

n The 8-and-under machine pitch All Stars begin district play Friday in Troy

n The 11-year-old Youth begin district play Friday in Troy.

The 13-year-old Dixie Boys will begin tournament play with districts July 6 in Troy. Eufaula will open with Elba at 6 p.m. Greenville and Troy are also in the tournament.
