Stephanie Monk scored 26 points Thursday evening to lead Dixie Academy past Enterprise Prep 66-43 in an AISA girls basketball game.

The heavily-favored Saints led 16-0 after the first quarter and 44-0 at halftime before cruising to a 58-21 win in Butler.

Home field advantage meant little for the Tigers (6-5) as they trailed 21-0 just one minute into the second quarter. The visiting Toros (9-2) scored 38 points before Eufaula finally scored in the fourth quarter.

The loss was especially bad for Dixie, which could have moved one step closer to a possible winning season and a playoff berth with a win against Chambers.
