Kids shouldn’t complain of being bored this summer.

Several area churches are hosting vacation Bible schools and other youth activities this summer.

First United Methodist Church will hold its vacation Bible school, “Camp EDGE” (Experience and Discover God Everywhere), through Friday, from 9 - 11:30 a.m.

Calvary Baptist Church will host vacation Bible school June 15-19, from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. This summer’s Bible school theme is “Boomerang Express.”

Zion Baptist Church will hold vacation Bible school through June 12, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. This summer’s theme will be “Heroes of the Faith.” For transportation, call Rosa Devose at 687-6543 or Linda Walton at 687-4944.

Georgetown United Methodist Church will have a “One Day Bible School” Friday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The theme will be “Blast into Summer with Jesus.” Activities will include Bible lessons, crafts, music and recreation. Lunch will be served. The school is open to children ages 2 to upcoming fourth graders. To register, call (229) 334-5957 or (229) 732-3170.
