Miss Beck, Mr. Dole will wed June 6

Billy and Gaye Beck of Holtville announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Laura Beck, to Stephen James Dole, son of Carl and Celia Dole of Eufaula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sandra Whatley and the late John Whatley of Holtville, and of Mrs. Jane Beck and the late Jack Beck of Sweetwater.

Cati is a 2003 graduate of Holtville High School and a 2007 graduate of Auburn University where she received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. She was a member of Delta Zeta social sorority and the Auburn University Marching Band flag line.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dailey of Gainesville, Fla., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dole of Flomaton.

He is a 2002 graduate of Eufaula High School and a 2007 graduate of Auburn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He was a member of the Auburn University Marching Band, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Tau Beta Pi.

He is currently employed with Chevron Oil Refinery in Pascagoula, Miss.

The wedding will be June 6, at 2 p.m. at Cains Chapel United Methodist Church.
