Fendall Hall Site Director Deborah Casey honored those who volunteer at the house-museum Tuesday morning with a special volunteer appreciation coffee.

Van Smith was honored for serving 507 hours as a volunteer at Fendall Hall last year. Smith has volunteered at Fendall Hall since 1991. Betty Griffin was recognized for volunteering 242 hours in 2011. She has volunteered at Fendall Hall since 2008.

Former Historic Chattahoochee Commission director Doug Purcell was honored along with former RSVP director Barbara Crapps for their support of Fendall Hall. Crapps was not present at the coffee. Eufaula High School senior Jackson Harris, though not present, was also honored for his establishment of the Eufaula Rifles’ Encampment at Fendall Hall for the Eufaula Heritage Association.
