Miss Lauren Ashley Ross of Stone Harbor, N.J. and Mr. Jeremy Broughton Jones of Eufaula were wed Nov. 19 at Dennisville United Methodist Church in Dennisville, N.J. Pastor Peter Jamieson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Diana Ross of Swainton, N.J. and Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Diane Ross of Stone Harbor, N.J. and is the granddaughter of Ms. Sylvia Armstrong. She is currently employed as activity director at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley and Bernita Jones of Eufaula and is the grandson of Ms. Louise Jones and Ms. Jequieta Fulk. He is employed as a forester with Eufaula Pulpwood Co.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Robert Ross. Her sister, Miss Monica Ross, served as Maid of Honor. Bridal attendants included Miss Victoria Karaso of Cape May Court House, N.J., Miss Megan Hill of Dothan, Miss Mary Barranco of Montgomery, Mrs. Breanne Barnes of Dothan, and Miss Emma Jones of Athens served as junior bridesmaid.
The groom’s father, Mr. Stanley Jones, was Best Man. Attendants to the groom included Mr. David Gardner of Eufaula, Mr. Nick Lombardo of Hoover, Mr. Ben Didier of Kennesaw, Ga., Mr. Brett Townsend of Eufaula, Mr. Tom Lewis of Eufaula and Mr. Lorin Moyd of Eufaula.
Miss Ella Jones of Athens and Miss Madelynn Smith of Valley served as flower
girls. Mr. Robert Benner of Swainton, N.J. served as ring bearer.
Mrs. Kelli Smith of Valley served as director and was also a reader. Other readers included Mr. Alexander Benvenuto and Mr. Edward Ross. Ms. Sandy Swagler was organist for the ceremony.
The bride wore a champagne satin dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace and beadwork on the bust, hem and train of the gown. She wore the veil of the groom’s mother, which was made by her mother 36 years ago. She carried a bouquet of lily, ranunculus and Gerber daisies.
The mothers of the bride and groom carried mini bouquets of ranunculus and assorted flowers in shades of ivory.
The colors of the wedding were purple, red and orange. The reception was held at Abbie Holmes Estate in Clermont, N.J. The seated dinner for 100 guests featured salmon with champagne dill sauce, filet of beef and eggplant parmesan.
The bride’s cake was an ivory confection with lace detail. Each layer was accented with pink satin ribbon and fresh mini floral bouquets, and the topper was a traditional bride and groom topper. The groom’s cake was shaped like an Auburn football helmet. Both cakes were provided by Jamie Cakes of Dennisville, N.J. The couple received a cake knife as their first wedding gift together.
Entertainment for the reception was provided by Love Affair Band or North Wildwood, N.J. After the reception, the couple left by limousine to the Philadelphia airport bound for Aruba.
Following their honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Jones reside in Eufaula.
