Shorter receives grant for bathroom project

The total cost of the conversion was $30,585. The grant for $5,400 was given by the Wiregrass Research Conservation and Development Council. Anne Adams with the Wiregrass RC&D presented the check to Pam Snead Wednesday at the Shorter Mansion.
The Eufaula Heritage Association began this project to convert the old plant house in the back yard of the Shorter Mansion into a restroom facility that can be used by guests during special events.
