The Eufaula City School Board has selected Carl "Eddie" Tyler of Baldwin County, Ala. as the next superintendent of Eufaula City Schools. The vote was 4-1 in favor of Tyler with Jim Calton, Jr. voting against.
Tyler has entered into a verbal agreement to accept the job pending contract negotiations, said board chairman Allen White.
