Dodgers rout Yankees

The Bjorn3D.com Dodgers plated five runs in the fourth and final inning to cruise to a 10-3 win against the Lewis-Smith Supply Yankees May 5 in Dixie Minor play.

Dallas Hudson led the Dodgers’ charge with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate. Luke McCook and Josh Down each had a hit in the win.

Frank Garrison earned the win on the mound.

Garrett Fenn paced the Yankees with a 2-for-2 performance.

Braves 8, Astros 5
The Eufaula Pulpwood Co. Braves edged the Ronnie’s Auto Parts Astros 8-5 May 5 in Dixie Minor action.

Hunter Jones led the Braves with a 2-for-2 effort at the plate.

Alex Welsh was 1-for-2 with a home run and Jake Clark was 1-for-1 and also earned the win on the mound.

Carsyn Moore and Jalin Henry were each 2-for-2 at the plate for the Astros.

Dodgers 10, Orioles 7
A seven-run second inning powered the Bjorn3D.com Dodgers to a 10-7 win against the Little Caesars Orioles April 30 in Dixie Minor play.

Caleb Alexander, Spencer Biggs, Jarred Luke and J.R. Miller were each 2-for-2 in the win.

Brewers 12, Cardinals 2
The J&J Construction Brewers defeated the Hartzog & Company Cardinals 12-2 April 27 in Instructional League action.

Dee Jones, Charles Johnson, Henry Reeves, Blake Moorer and Sellers Smith each had two hits for the Brewers in the win.

Dixie Youth

Dodgers 7, Yankees 6
Seven runs in the first two innings was enough for the Carbo Ceramics Dodgers to hold off the Lakeside Building Materials Yankees April 30 in Dixie Youth action.

Morgan Parmer led the charge for the Dodgers with a 2-for-2 performance that included a grand slam. Thomas Espy also had two hits in the win.

Raequon Kelley earned the win on the mound.

Cardinals 10, Braves 5
The Precision Body Works Cardinals defeated the Calvary Baptist Braves 10-5 April 28 in Dixie Youth play.

Zac Dismukes and Sammy Albright had two hits each to pace the Cardinals. Dismukes also earned the win on the mound.

Andrew King led the Braves with a 2-for-3 effort.

White Sox 11, Dodgers 0
The Phil’s Bar-B-Que White Sox blanked the Carbo Ceramics Dodgers 11-0 April 28 in Dixie Youth action.

Drew Spivey was 2-for-3 with a grand slam to lead the White Sox.

Jeremiah Forte and Lane Molette also had two hits in the win. Andrew Price earned the win on the mound.

Morgan Parmer, Raequon Kelley and Austin Davis each had a hit for the Dodgers in the loss.

Dixie Boys

Braves 9, Yankees 3
The MidSouth Bank Braves topped the Compass Bank Yankees 9-3 April 30 in Dixie Boys play.

Luke Ates was 3-for-4 at the plate and earned the win on the mound to lead the Braves. Kimball Robinson was also 3-for-4 in the win.

Joseph Bowick and Steven Colley were each 1-for-3 at the plate for the Yankees in the loss.

Marlins 10, Rangers 0
The Badcock Home Furniture Marlins blanked the Eufaula Internal Medicine Rangers 10-0 April 30 in Dixie Boys action.

Dakota Hudson led the Marlins’ charge with a 3-for-4 effort. Max Winkleblack was credited with the win on the mound.

Cody Dudley and Brooks Welk each had a hit for the Rangers in the loss.
