Jimmerson tapped All-Conference

Faulkner University pitcher Emily Jimmerson, a 2007 graduate of The Lakeside School, was recently named a first-team All-Conference selection for the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).

Jimmerson, a sophomore, was the only Faulkner player to make the first team.

She pitched 183 2/3 innings for the Lady Eagles and finished with an 18-13 record and a 2.06 ERA. She struck out 11 batters in three games this season - against Southern Wesleyan, Brewton-Parker College and Auburn -Montgomery.

Jimmerson helped lead her team to a 16-16 conference record and a 26-27 overall record.
